Birthday Parties at Omaha Children's Museum

 

Omaha Children’s Museum sets the perfect stage for a fun and memorable birthday party for your child. The museum offers a party room for birthday festivities, hours of play in its interactive exhibits and your choice of seven fun themes. 

The museum’s Birthday Party Room is spacious and conveniently located just inside the museum’s entrance. You are welcome to bring food and cake into the museum’s birthday party room to serve to your guests.

Each birthday party includes your choice of themes:

  • Dino-Mite!
  • Surf's Up!
  • Pirate Party (Boy or girl)
  • Princess
  • Howdy Partner(Boy or girl)
  • Rock Star (Boy or girl)
  • Welcome to the Carnival

These new and exciting themed parties provide the perfect backdrop to your child’s special day. Large props fill the room with magic and excitement and create great photo opportunities for the party! An activity can be made available upon request. All activities tie in with your chosen theme.

Each party pack includes themed cups, plates, napkins, forks, spoons and invitations for each guest (to be mailed by purchaser). It also includes balloons (not inflated), streamers, and tablecloth. All decorations are available for you to decorate the room to your liking. Really fun extra items are available for you to purchase through Oriental Trading Company to make your party everything you want it to be. Playtime Party
This basic party is a great way for your child to celebrate in the museum. Great for a small group, the Playtime Party offers an easy option for a memorable birthday.

Availability:

  • Midweek: Tuesday – Thursday, during museum regular  hours.
  • Weekend: Friday- Sunday during regular museum hours.

Playtime Party Includes:

  • All day inclusive admission to the museum for 12 guests
  • Choice of party theme/party pack
  • Personal party host
  • Party room for 1 hour
  • Birthday child's name announced in the museum (optional)

Member Price: $200 for up to 12 guests (in addition to member family)
Non-member Price:  $225 for up to 12 guests
Each Additional Guest: $9

Deposit: $50 due at time of booking (non-refundable)

Super Playtime Party
The Super Playtime Party gives your family the convenience of the most popular birthday times and all the amenities of the museum. Don’t forget to hop on the museum’s beautiful carousel to make your child’s birthday one your family will never forget!

Availability:

Super Playtime Party Includes:

  • All day inclusive admission to the museum for 24 guests
  • Personal Party Host
  • Party Room for 2 Hours
  • T-shirt for the birthday child
  • Birthday child’s name announced in the museum (optional)
  • 20 Carousel Tickets
  • Choice of party theme/party pack

Member Price: $400 for up to 24 guests (in addition to member family)
Non-Member Price: $450.00 for up to 24 guests
Each Additional Guest: $9

The Birthday Party Room accommodates up to 32 guests.  If you need a larger space, the museum’s activity room can be reserved for an additional hour for $100.  This space will hold up to 75 guests.
