Busy Baby Art & Busy Big Kid Art
Art Programs for Babies and Toddlers!
These new classes feature great sensory-motor experiences
for children while helping to teach them an appreciation for
art. Offering everything from finger painting with pudding
to creating magic paint bags and stamping with fruits and
veggies, these programs are a great opportunity for creative
expression. You’ll love spending time working with your
child on fun projects without the worry of making a big mess
at home!

Artist-In-Residence
Glass Fusion Activities with Kristi Pederson
Join the museum's Artist-in-Residence for art activities.
Free with museum membership or admission.
Learn the art of glass fusion with Kristi
Pederson. Projects include: Wire & Metal Coasters (March),
Kiln Carving (April) and Candle Holders (May). Children 8
and older work with glass, children younger than 8 work
with different age-appropriate materials for each project.

Autism Night
A special evening for children with
Autism and their families. The museum has worked with UNMC
and the GWR Sunshine Foundation to create an appropriate environment.

lab activities. Topics include: Nesting Food Chains (March),
Paper RE-Makers (April), and Fetch! “Go Fly a Kite”
(May). FETCH! Programs are in partnership with NET and PBS.

First and Third Wednesdays of each Month
This series explores different science topics throughout the
year in the new Science & Technology Lab. Click

Preschool Pals

Each week a new theme is explored through activities, stories,
songs and games. Ages: 3 - 5. Included with museum admission

Shows
Surprise presentations take place throughout the museum.
These presentations change daily and can happen at any moment.
It could be a science experiment table or a giant ball to
play a game. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled. Fun and
learning are always just around the corner.
