Putt-to-Learn Adventure

Notice:
Fore! The Planet will be closed for the Midwest Spelling Bee
on Saturday, March 15.
Enter
our Green Golf Tourney!
Explore a tropical rainforest, navigate a polluted waterway,
discover the challenges that migrating birds face, and a "hole"
lot more by playing miniature golf in Fore! The Planet.
Fore! The Planet allows you to discover
how changes in the environment from natural causes and man
made decisions affect the overall health of our planet. The
exciting interactive exhibit features 18 holes of indoor golf
for people of all ages to try their hand at putting while
acquiring environmental knowledge for a better understanding
of the world in which we live.
Putt the 18-hole course to understand human
interaction with the environment. Explore the cause and effect
factors leading to pollution, the impact of recycling, population
threats, landfills, and many more! Make your own choices about
the environment by choosing a putting path. Fore! The Planet
is a fun way to appreciate a message of stewardship and conservation
through a game of miniature golf.
Each
round of golf is $1 for museum members and $2 for non members.
This exhibition is accessible to the disabled.

With the goal of educating
children, Omaha Children’s Museum often hosts exhibitions
and presents information that is based on scientific research
and/or created by other children’s museums and science
centers. The museum is a place of discovery and we encourage
you to engage in conversations with your children about their
ideas on your visits.
Fore! The Planet was created by the Franklin
Institute Science Museum and contains information on the theory
of evolution, which may be sensitive to some families. Please
be aware that this topic is covered.
Omaha Children’s Museum respects
the opinions and beliefs of all guests.
