Baker's Store

Shop ‘til you drop in this pint-sized grocery store created especially for kids! The store offers a chance for kids to do the food shopping all on their own. Grocery carts and shopping baskets enable children to do their own hunting and gathering. Kids can also choose to run the cash register, assisting other smart shoppers as they check out. The store encourages children’s decision making and problem solving, while they apply math skills, and consider career choices.

And if shopping’s not their game, kids can work in the nearby Post Office; sorting and delivering mail to our different museum places. This area promotes career choices, in addition to map and sorting skills.
