Omaha Children's Museum's Welcome Fund is a program designed to provide children and families who could not otherwise afford it, access to the museum. Through the contributions of caring community members, the museum is able to offer discounted memberships to Omaha’s underserved learners.
This program is open to the public, with recruitment conducted through marketing to visitors and targeted outreach efforts aimed at underserved populations. Omaha Children's Museum collaborates with school administrations with Title One income designation. Our program is designed to identify, invite and include these new members in a discreet, dignified, and non-evaluative manner. Administration procedures are designed to secure the anonymity of subsidized members among our membership-at-large.
Contributing to the Welcome Fund
Community leaders are needed to provide the anchor for this program. Funding at leadership levels will provide the momentum needed to raise the money necessary to serve as many families as possible. Any and all contributions are welcome and greatly appreciated. Donors and friends are needed to share what they have to ensure that all children can enjoy this very special place!
