Fore! The Planet
Open Now through April 27
$1/Round for Members; $2/Round for Non-Members
NOTICE: Fore! will be closed March 15 for the Midwest Spelling Bee

Visitors can save an endangered animal, navigate a polluted waterway, and follow the path of a migrating hawk all while playing miniature golf at FORE! The Planet: A Putt-to-Learn Adventure.
FORE! The Planet features 18 holes of indoor golf where players test their putting skills and environmental know-how while gaining a better understanding of our world. Each hole explores themes such as dinosaur extinction, bat sonar, pollution, and recycling in a way that’s fun and humorous for children as well as adults.


Branches, Bristles and Batteries: Toothbrushes Through Time

Open during regular museum hours through May 4.

This hands-on exhibit developed by the Dr. Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry educates visitors of every age about the importance of oral health to overall health while offering an interactive approach to learning about the history of the toothbrush, healthy snacks, proper brushing and other “toothy facts." Included with admission or membership.

Join local dentists for informative and fun presentations as a complement to the Branches, Bristles & Batteries exhibit.

Mosaic's Day of Inclusion Activities
Wednesday, April 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Learn the importance of including everyone with activities such as an obstacle course, coloring table, video screening and washable tattoos. All activities will be facilitated by Mosaic.


Green Golf Tourney
Saturday, April 12, 9 a.m.
Come watch some seriously green putt-putt at the Green Golf Tourney. Prequalified kids and adults will golf for prizes and there will be fun for all - including swing analysis by GolfTEC!


Week of the Young Child
Saturday, April 12, 9 a.m.
An entire week devoted to our youngest visitors. Special stories and activities at 10:30 and at 1:30 every day, all week long!

The museum is going green! There will be recycling crafts, eco-friendly science labs and special visits by “Garbagena,” our resident recycling expert. Get your hands dirty in the garden, and take home a sapling to plant in your backyard. We’ll do our part to protect the Earth, and have fun too!

Join the museum's Artist-in-Residence for art activities.


Learn the art of glass fusion with Kristi Pederson. Projects include: Kiln Carving (April) and Candle Holders (May). Children 8 and older work with glass, children younger than 8 work
with different age-appropriate materials for each project. Free with museum admission or membership.

An Evening on the Cape
For the Kids Benefit 2008
Saturday, May 3
Dine along the shores of our makeshift seacoast and stroll the bustling Auction Ports to find your one-of-a kind, must have items with all purchases supporting the museum. Cranberry Seabreezes are optional! And it’s all “For the Kids.”

Funds raised from the event will be used to sustain the museum’s new permanent exhibits that were renovated in 2007 as well as its ongoing programs.
