The musuem offers free parking to its visitors. Lots can be entered off of St. Mary's Avenue. Additional metered parking is available surrounding the museum. Museum entrances are located on the south and east sides of the building. (click here for a map and driving directions)

Picnic/Vending Areas
We know that kids like to eat…all the time. For your convenience, there is a picnic area outside the museum’s south entrance furnished with tables. There is also a picnic/vending area just inside the museum’s south entrance. (see museum map here)

Family Room
Need to take a quick break? The museum’s Family Room, inside Imagination Playground (see musuem map here), offers several tables, chairs, high chairs and booster seats, as well as a microwave and sink. There’s also healthy options vending, a nursing room and plenty of reading/resource materials for children and adults. Coffee is available in the Family Room for just $.50 (purchase at the front desk).

Bunch-A-Lunch
Every Tuesday, volunteers from the museum’s Rainbow Connectors Guild serve a lunch that includes a hot dog, chips, carrots, cookie and a drink. Cost is $3 and tickets can be purchased at the front desk upon admission.

Drinking Fountains
Drinking fountains are located outside the restrooms off the lobby on the main floor and outside the second floor restrooms.

Handicap Accessibility
Omaha Children’s Museum is fully accessible. Many traveling exhibits are also fully accessible. See individual exhibit pages for more information.

Elevator
There is an elevator to take guests to the second floor. The elevator is located just outside Imagination Playground. (see museum map here)

Restrooms with Changing Tables
There are restrooms with multiple stalls and changing tables on both floors. (see museum map here)

Small Potties & Handle Flushes
For those who are in the process of potty training, and those who simply prefer small potties (with handles that flush, rather than automatic flushes), they are located next to the Light Piano. (see museum map here)

Family Restroom
A large family restroom is located just outside Imagination Playground. (see museum map here)

Forget the Diapers?
Diapers in varying sizes are available at the museum’s front desk.

Coat and Bag Lockers
There are lockers near the entrance by the front desk available for rental. They are perfect for storing anything you don’t want to hold while you play!

Stroller Parking
Stroller Parking is available outside the Wiggle Room just inside the entrance of Imagination Playground. (see museum map here)

Lost and found is located at the museum’s front desk.

Got a boo boo?
There are basic first aid materials available at the museum’s front desk. Staff members are trained in basic first aid procedures.
