A Bug’s World
Explore the world of bugs in this camp inspired by the museum’s summer blockbuster, A Bug’s World, that will feature 7 massive robotic bugs. Learn about all types of different bugs and how they live and spend time investigating bugs in the exhibit.

Princess Poppy’s Adventures
Join the museum’s resident princesses for a week full of fairytale-inspired fun. You’ll do crafts, have tea parties and even enjoy a visit from Princess Poppy herself at the end of the week. This memorable camp will make all kids feel like royalty!

May the Force Be With You: Mini Jedi Training Camp IV
Get ready for a special week-long Jedi Training. Campers will investigate robots, light sabers and space travel. From the lab station on the Moon of Endor, campers will learn about droids and build models of space communities. Plus, there will be Lego activites, rocket experiments and much more. This camp is open to first time and repeat Jedi Training camp campers!

Phineas and Ferb’s Adventures
Don’t waste a day of summer! This camp is inspired by the adventures of Phineas and Ferb and all their shenanigans. Each day campers will do experiments, have crazy creative adventures,bond and learn a ton…without creating too much mischief!

T-Rex to Tarantulas
This camp will get kids excited about all things buggy and dino-centric. Campers will explore the museum’s blockbuster summer exhibit, A Bug’s World, complete with big, robotic bugs and learn a ton about dinosaurs, too, from the museum’s dino and bug education experts. This is a week kids won’t want to miss! Bug education is in partnership with University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Entymology Dept.

Mermaids, Goblins, & Other Fairy Tale Adventures A Rose Theater and Omaha Children’s Museum Class
Ages: 5-8
Dates: Aug. 5-9 (M-F)
Cost: $185 Times: 9am-4 pm*
Spend your mornings at the Omaha Children’s Museum and your afternoons at The Rose Theater with characters from your favorite fairy tale adventures! At The Rose, we will bring characters to life and act out favorite scenes from stories like Little Mermaid and Grocer’s Goblin. We will even create new fairy tales of our own!
*Omaha Children’s Museum (9 am-12 pm); The Rose Theater (1-4 pm). Students will be escorted as a group between locations.
