Omaha Children's Museum's summer camps feature engaging curriculum and great instructors who make every day exciting and new. Camps below are intended for children ages 4 and 5, and include daily play in the museum, a snack, and a Meet The Teacher Night.
Some are creepy, some are crawly, and all have superpowers! This camp explores the insects, spiders, and other creatures that inhabit the summer exhibit, Bug Squad.
What can we be when we grow up? Chase is on the case! Explore heroic careers and have a blast with activities inspired by characters from the popular television series "PAW Patrol."
If you have a "Wild Kratts" fan in the family, this camp is for them! In Creature Power, we will investigate amazing creatures and their habits.
Lace up your sneakers and stretch those muscles. This camp is all about the 2020 Summer Olympics! A range of competitive sports will be explored and children will learn how some sports are adapted for athletes with disabilities. Throughout the week, campers will work on social skills while staying active through play and friendly competition.
Meet us in the kitchen for a fun week of camp! Through food, kids will learn S.T.E.A.M. concepts and culinary history, while preparing recipes each day. Please indicate known food allergies on medical forms.

Every day is enchanting when you're learning to be a princess. New this year, campers will also learn about princesses' friends like the unicorn. This camp is perfect for little ones with big imaginations who love to sing and dance.
Gather up the gang, and Scooby Doo too - it looks like we've got another mystery on our hands. During this camp, children will tackle S.T.E.A.M. challenges and solve mysteries.
This camp is for mini superheroes! We'll learn the science behind fun superpowers like flying and X-ray vision. Children will also learn about character development and social skills of famous superheroes, and learn about the common superheroes we encounter every day.
In this collaborative camp between The Rose Theater and Omaha Children’s Museum, students will create their own superhero bug characters to save the day, and explore the fun, interactive exhibits at the museum! We will use our bodies, voices, and imaginations to discover the amazing abilities of superbugs. Students will create original set pieces, costumes, and props for our drama adventure.

Please Note: Students will be at The Rose Theater from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and at Omaha Children’s Museum from 12:30 - 4 p.m. Student morning drop off will be located in The Rose Theater lobby. Student pick up will be located in the Omaha Children’s Museum pick-up lane. Students will be escorted between The Rose and Omaha Children’s Museum, and they will be supervised during the lunch hour. Students must bring a sack lunch, drink, and snack to class each day. Morning care is available at The Rose Theater ($15) and afternoon care is available at Omaha Children’s Museum ($15).
