You’re the all-star in the special exhibit Super Sports: Building Strength, Sportsmanship and Smarts. Test your skills throwing footballs and baseballs. Take aim on the mini soccer, hockey and basketball courts. Attempt a CrossFit course, practice curling and bump, set, spike on our volleyball court.
Each area in the exhibit is an interactive experience focusing on a different sport or profession related to sports. Children can develop team-building skills, and learn about nutrition and an athletic lifestyle, all through play. There’s even a separate toddler area for our youngest athletes-in-training.
Super Sports Programming:
Daily programming will be held in the exhibit, including:
Sports Lab - See what Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) have to do with your favorite sports. We may dissect a baseball or learn why a football spins in the air through hands-on activities. Sports Lab happens daily in the mornings.
Time Our For Sports! - Come join us for an exciting time of interactive learning! Every day, we will highlight a sport, and practice and develop our fine and gross motor skills. Time Out For Sports! activities could range from a skills obstacle course, dribbling a basketball, shooting a soccer goal, and so much more. Time Out For Sports! happens daily in the afternoons.
Sports Spotlight - Watch for announcements about guest speakers on select Saturdays this fall. They may be athletes from a local team, a fitness group, or experts in sports medicine. Upcoming guests:
