World Fest

Sundays, Aug. 18 and 25

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Learn about other cultures and traditions around the world during World Fest, an event in collaboration with Omaha Sister Cities Association. Enjoy performances and activities from each of Omaha’s Sister Cities: Siauliai, Lithuania; Xalapa, Mexico; Naas, Ireland; Braunschweig, Germany; Yantai, China; and Shizauka, Japan. Children receive a mini passport to collect stamps at each country.

Aug. 18: Visit Yantai, Xalapa and Siaulial. Chinese dancers will perform at 12:30 p.m.
Aug. 25: Visit Shizauka, Braunschweig and Naas. Japanese “Soren Bushi” dance performance is at 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 pm.; Irish dancers are at 12:30 p.m.

Activities are included with regular museum admission, while supplies last.
