Fairytale Ball 2019

6 to 9 p.m.

Hear ye, hear ye! You're cordially invited to attend the annual Fairytale Ball. Enjoy an enchanting night at the museum, filled with magical encounters with princesses and princes, horse-drawn carriage rides, dancing and princess sing-alongs, a wishing well, and crafts & activities including make-your-own crowns, swords and unicorn glitter jars. The evening ends with a fireworks finale. Outdoor activities including the carriage rides and fireworks are weather-permitting.

There will also be a Magic Wand Salon for children to get an extra sprinkle of magic to be ready for the ball.This will include picking out necklaces, eye patches, and hair glitter from fairy godmothers.

Sensory-friendly additions to the event include a special check-in area, calming corner, and our sensory kits will be available to check out for the evening. Kits include headphones and fidgets.

Costumes are encouraged. 

Ticket information

Tickets are $20 per person for members and $35 per person for non-members. Children and adults will need tickets to the event. Children under 24 months do not need a ticket. Dinner is included with the ticket. Ticket sales close on Friday, July 26.

Check in: 5:15 - 6:00

Royal Arrival/doors open: 6:00

String quartet live performance: 6:00 – 8:00

Dinner (buffet style with ham and turkey sandwiches, cupcakes, chips, juice, wand kabobs): 6:00 – 9:00

Activities (Sword Training, Magic Creature Potions, Sing-A-Long Songs, Wishing Well, Dance Party, Photo Booth, Sword and Crown Decorating, Make your Own Harmonica, Magic Wand Salon): 6:00 – 9:00

Carriage Rides (weather permitting): 6:00 – 8:45

Parade for royal guests: 8:40

Fireworks (weather permitting): 9:00
