Feel the beat and be a rock star for the week! We’re jamming our way through summer in a summer camp focused on music. Campers will make their own instruments and form their own band in this camp. Plus, we’ll learn the science behind sound through hands-on experiments.
Little dudes, this summer camp is an excellent week involving all things Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™. Camp includes playing in our summer exhibit, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™: Secret of the Sewers™, working on team-building skills to fight crime, and collaborative games.

Youngsters dive into the world of tinkering in our new summer camp, Mini Maker’s Challenge. Age-appropriate STEAM-inspired activities will involve a variety of materials to introduce children to the creative world of a maker. Mini Maker’s Challenge includes some time spent in the state-of-the-art Tinker Lab (with adult supervision). This camp is offered one week only!
Imaginations will run wild at our science camp with a literary twist. Lessons learned from the book and television series will come to life at the museum in unbelievable ways. Each day, campers will arrive at the museum wondering "What will Ms. Frizzle have in store for us today?"

Young animal lovers, this is your camp. We’ll spend a week learning about animals and how to care for them. We’ll meet live animals, imagine ourselves as vets in an animal hospital, and learn about our responsibilities to protect and preserve animals’ homes.
This summer camp is for the kid who loves bugs, snakes, and critters that scurry. We’ll mix a bit of science with a whole lot of play in this new camp for animal lovers. This camp is offered one week only!
Know a super kid? Send them to this camp for mini superheroes. We’ll learn the science behind fun superpowers like flying and X-ray vision. Children will also learn about the character development and social skills of famous superheroes, and learn the common superheroes we encounter every day.
Get sorted into a house and then find your place among other first-year wizards at the museum’s new summer camp, Wizardry Academy! You don’t have to be a Harry Potter fan to attend, just have a curiosity to learn about potions, fantastic creatures, and magical games.
Spend your mornings at The Rose Theater and your afternoons at Omaha Children’s Museum. Students will use their bodies, voices, and imaginations to explore and act out ancient Chinese stories such as “The Monkeys and the Grasshoppers,” while creating cultural design projects. Students must bring a sack lunch, drink, and snack to class each day. Morning care is available at The Rose Theater ($15) and afternoon care is available at Omaha Children’s Museum ($15).
