Congratulations to our first class of Kindergarten Ready graduates!
These soon-to-be students celebrated the completion of our Kindergarten Readiness program by participating in our graduation ceremony here at the museum, making them officially ready for kindergarten! We are honored and excited to be part of the first of many graduations to come for these little ones! Kindergarten Ready is a new, free program at the museum that is designed to help children develop the skills necessary to succeed in school. Activities are intended to promote creativity and imagination while developing deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills.
Stop in and pick up your Kindergarten Ready assignment book at the front desk, complete activities throughout the museum, then celebrate with us at our monthly graduation ceremonies! Each graduate receives a cap and gown, personalized diploma, and drawstring bag full of fun learning materials!
Click here for further details, or stop by the front desk today to pick your assignment book and get Kindergarten Ready!
Big thanks to our sponsors Bank of the West, Pigtails and Crewcuts, and Learning HQ for their help and support of this program.
”Learning Headquarters was thrilled to partner with Omaha Children’s Museum on Kindergarten Readiness. Getting kids and their parents excited about learning is so important. Creating fun, accessible learning opportunities and giving kids the tools they need to be successful in school are prime objectives of both our organizations. Kindergarten Readiness was a hit and I look forward to partnering with Omaha Children’s Museum again soon.”
