Worldfest: Naas, Ireland
July 13 10:12 AM

Omaha Children's Museum's popular WorldFest: A Sister City Celebration event series is off and running! On Thursday evenings June 21 through August 2 (with the exception of July 5) the museum hosts cultural activities from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Each evening features a different sister city and guests will be immersed in fun and educational activities unique to the city. WorldFest activities are free with admission to the museum and last night the museum celebrated with activities and events from Naas, Ireland.

TIrish-themed crafts and activities were available for guests to make - and of course there was plenty of green! Irish flags flew proudly all over the Creative Arts Center.

What's Worldfest without a little snack? Guests were able to taste traditional Irish stew.

Dancers from the Craoi na Tire school of Irish dance performed numbers with both soft and hard shoes. Guests were delighted with both traditional Irish jigs and some updated dances as well.

Join us next week as we celebrate Yantai, China!
