Wacky Wednesday: Bubbles!
January 25 11:36 AM
Cheryl Glasford is our Science Center Lead and also our resident "Curiosity Queen." She helped kids learn all about bubbles during this week's Wacky Wednesday. Two-year-old Joshua (above) likes bubbles because "they fly!"

Kids got to experiment with different types of shapes to see if they could make a bubble that wasn't a sphere! Cheryl showed them a square bubble!

Cheryl also had stations where kids could make and take their own bubble juice and bubble wands! Want to make bubble juice at home? Here's how:

  1. Pour 1 cup of water in a bucket or tub.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of dish soap.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of corn syrup.
  4. Stir and make bubbles!

The bubble juice gets better the next day!

Think this looks fun? Join us for more Wacky Wednesdays in May, and be sure to catch "Curiosity Queen" Cheryl in the Charlie Campbell Science and Technology Center!
