Freedom. Liberty. Independence. Celebrating America!
July 3 11:46 AM

Freedom.  Liberty.  Independence.  We’re all familiar with these patriotic words especially as we approach the holiday weekend to celebrate our great nation on the Fourth of July. But at Omaha Children’s Museum, these words have another meaning.

Within our walls children have the freedom to experiment, create and play without fear of failure and the opportunity to be independent while they invent and imagine new ideas and dreams.

America was founded by dreamers, innovators and visionaries. Each day at OCM, our programming, exhibits and events encourage little ones to follow in these footsteps so as they play, learn and grow they will become strong and independent individuals that strive to follow their dreams.

This weekend we celebrate not only the red, white and blue but the wonderful kiddos that are the future of this country. Join us this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, for Patriot’s Weekend. Enjoy the fireworks science show, the wonders of milk fireworks, blow painting and more all weekend long in celebration of America’s birthday. See you this weekend!

Happy Independence Day!
