Ready for Graduation! Are You Kindergarten Ready?

Kindergarten Ready Graduate! If you have a little one starting Kindergarten this fall, you’re probably attending Kindergarten Roundup to get familiar with the new classroom. You’ll meet the teachers, find your child’s coat hook and desk and maybe even tour the school. It’s a great way to prepare you’re Kindergartner for the upcoming school year!

Omaha Children’s Museum also wants to help you get ready for school! Kindergarten Ready is a program designed to help children develop the skills necessary to succeed in school. Activities are intended to promote creativity and imagination while developing deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills. This program was developed in partnership with area schools and educators to help children learn and practice many of the skills that will help them be successful in school.

This program runs daily and is free with regular museum admission.

Stop in and pick up your Kindergarten Ready assignment book, complete the activities throughout the museum, then you are ready for your cap and gown at graduation! Once you turn in your assignment book at the front desk, the museum will contact you to attend a Graduation Ceremony for your child and their fellow classmates! Each graduate will receive a cap and gown, goodie bag full of fun things to get ready for school and even your very own diploma! Assignment Book

Get ready for ‘K’ through play at Omaha Children’s Museum!

Big thanks to our sponsors Bank of the West, Pigtails & Crewcuts and Learning HQ for their help and support of this program.
