Omaha Children's Museum Rainbow Connectors Guild
The Rainbow Connectors Guild is an active group of enthusiastic, hardworking and committed volunteers dedicated to the advancement and growth of Omaha Children’s Museum. With over 200 members this group takes pride in pursuing the mission of the museum by conducting fundraising and friend-raising projects throughout the year.
The Rainbow Connectors Guild's largest fundraiser, “For the Kids Benefit,” is held on the first Saturday of May. In 2007, over $175,000 was raised for the museum! To date, the group has been instrumental in presenting the museum with a contribution of close to $1.5 million.

Friend-raising programs and activities are an important part of the guild. These include but are not limited to:
Sneak-A-Peeks
The first chance to preview new exhibits at the museum.
Bunch-A-Lunch Program
A service the guild provides every Tuesday from October to May from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., giving families the opportunity to stay and eat a hot dog lunch.
Kids Recognition
A program set up to honor elementary students. Applications are turned in by community schools and reviewed by the Education Committee, which consists of museum staff, guild representation and educators in the area. Once reviewed, schools and/or classrooms are picked and honored. The winners receive a free museum outreach for the classroom or school, a plaque and a $50.00 donation of new books for the school library.
Valentine’s Family Affair
A fun event for guild members and their families to enjoy the museum and celebrate Valentine’s Day.
All Guild Coffee
An invitation to the entire guild to join the Guild Board for coffee, special shopping privileges in the gift shop and meeting new friends.
