Excerpt from Spring issue of connect Member Newsletter
You may have noticed that our newsletter looks a bit different. With the New Year, came a fresh new look for Omaha Children’s Museum. We have an updated logo, plenty of new printed materials and a brand new web site and blog at OCM.org. The new name of the newsletter, “connect,” speaks to what we hope the newsletter can help us accomplish with each and every member.
The star in our new logo communicates a number of things. We want Omaha Children’s Museum to be a bright spot in the lives of the families who visit. We also see the star as representing each child as an individual and how they shine. Finally, it helps us to mark Omaha Children’s Museum as a destination. We’re proud to be the second-most visited arts and cultural attraction in the state with attendance growing steadily each year.
The new bright and cheerful colors help the museum to be vibrant and fun, just like the children and families who come to visit. We hope this is a place where you find much joy and you are able to delight in the many discoveries children make when you visit.
When you have a moment, we invite you to visit OCM.org to see what’s new online. The web site makes it easy to register for programs and camps, renew your membership, donate and find out what’s happening at the museum. You’ll also be able to get a more in-depth look at our programs, events and team on the blog.
We rely on your feedback to let us know when we’re doing well and how we can improve. We appreciate you, our members, making the museum a part of your life and hope we see you and the bright, shining, vibrant little people in your life soon.
