The Reciprocal Membership Perk
Did you know that by being an Omaha Children's Museum Member you get reciprocity with other museums throughout the country? That means you can get into different science museums and other participating museums throughout the country (and some outside of the country) for FREE. Personally we love the Oklahoma Science Museum and Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Here are a few photos from our recent trips to reciprocal museums! From pirate themed water tables, to dinosaurs, circus themed play areas and tree houses....we loved all of it!
If you don't already think the Children's Museum membership is a great idea, just by using it at our own Omaha museum, it is definitely worth it for all the places you can use it outside of Omaha!
How does it work?
- First, your benefits vary depending on the membership you have at the Museum. All members receive reciprocity at ASTC Museums across the country (and in some museums abroad too!) Here is what you should do to check out the participating reciprocal museums: Before you go on your vacation, check the list of reciprocal museums here and go to the FAQ on reciprocity for the updated list of reciprocal ASTC museums. Then all you need to do at the reciprocal museum is show them your ID, your Omaha Children's Museum pass, and mention you belong to a museum with reciprocity. Super easy!
If you have a Patron Membership you also receive reciprocal discounts at more than 150 children's museums across the country through the Association of Children's Museums. For that list click here to see all the other awesome places you can visit for free using reciprocity with your Patron Membership!
